There is a limited selection of starter batteries for Vanagons. This video shows you how-to select and install a replacement battery for Vanagons. Group 41 Batteries are your best bet. Group 41 batteries should measure 11. 25 X 6.9 X 6.95 (Inches). Although that doesn’t hold true for all Group 41 batteries as I discovered, some model batteries are larger and you have to ensure the size before you simply buy one.
